The Balasik is a gift given by Mandaragan to his beloved Sandawa. Its function is similar to an Ugat-pak, that when lost, the owner also loses something. The consequence of Sandawa losing it had cost her immortality. Gabriel, Panabon and Sang'gre Pirena eventually figured out that it was the reason behind Dyosang Sandawa's comatose.
