A new threat has come to challenge the current rulers of Encantadia.
Etheria later on, Bagong Etheria(English: New Etheria) was the first kingdom/queendom established in Encantadia. Though, it is referred to as the fifth kingdom of Encantadia. After its fall, it is known as Lumang Etheria (or Old Etheria) in the GMA 2016 Telefantasya Series, Encantadia.
It is an ancient kingdom that was once well-known as the most powerful kingdom. But now, the new generation doesn't know that it even existed.
It was rebuilt by the Bathalumang Ether accordingly on the farther north part of Encantadia in a place far from all the other major territories. Unlike its previous location, the new and improved palace has different characteristics than the former Lumang Etheria (Old Etheria). After its reestablishment, it is known as Bagong Etheria (New Etheria).

With the four kingdoms: Lireo, Hathoria, Sapiro and Adamya worshipping the Bathalang Emre, the two other deities, the Bathalang Arde and the Bathalumang Ether became jealous of him, so they attempted to kill him, but they failed because they were overpowered by Emre, who punished them, changing their forms to remind them of their treachery: Emre turned Arde into a dragon and made him guard Balaak while Ether was turned into a large serpent and was made homeless so she was forced to lurk around Encantadia.
While most people of Encantadia feared the Bathaluman, they still remain faithful to Emre, but there were some who respect and worship the Bathaluman, these people became the Etherians, they comprised the kingdom of Etheria. The Bathalumang Ether gave these people a golden hourglass and she helped the land prosper, despite her snake form.
The Golden Hourglass
The denizens of Etheria, the Etherians, became more powerful than the Diwatas, Hathors, Sapiryans and Adamyans and Etheria prospered and became the most succesful kingdom/territory than the four territories.
Because of the greed of Avria, the queen of Etheria, she tried to conquer the totality of Encantadia. In retaliation, the four kingdoms unite together as one and formed an alliance. Emre answered the call of his followers and aided them in their battle by giving them the Inang Brilyante (Mother Gem), an object imbued with the combined devastating force of the nature's five elements. With the power of the Brilyante, the alliance was powerful enough to destroy Etheria, leading to its eventual fall. Erasing its glory, leaving only the ruins of a fallen kingdom behind. Afterwards, the existence of Etheria as a fifth kingdom of Encantadia was erased in the map and the realm was left with only four kingdoms who all fought against Etheria; Lireo, Hathoria, Sapiro, and Adamya.
Original Location[]
It located in the far northwestern part of Encantadia, the nearest territory to it is the land of the Yeshras, then the land of Bandidos, and the volacnic ranges of Lavanea. On it's southeast, Hathoria is the most nearest kingdom.
The Four Tribes of Etheria[]
Etheria is divided into four tribes, namely: Hera Sensa, Hera Volo, Hera Andal, and Hera Aega. Each tribe possesses a unique ability that distinguishes them from each of the other tribes as well as the entire Encantadia.
Hera Andal[]
Hera Andal
The capital of Etheria, where their Queen, also regarded as the High Sorceress, resides. Hera Andal is known the tribe who specialized in studying different disciplines of the mystic arts, ranging from harnessing pure energies, magically enchanting their voices for various purposes, among others.
Geography[]
Historically, it is located on the northern part of the Etherian peninsula where Etheria once stood (now the disappeared Etheria ruins). To its south and southeast is Hera Sensa, to its west and southwest is Hera Volo, and to its farther south-southeast is Hera Aega. To its farther east and southeast are the lands of Yabiti, Territory of Bandits, and Lavanea. To its farther more east is Sapiro and farthest east is Lireo, and to its farther more southeast is Hathoria and farthest southeast is Adamya. Due to its rebuilding on a northern part of Encantadia by Bathalumang Ether, the absolute and relative locations changed.
Hera Sensa[]
Hera Sensa
This specific Etherian tribe specialized in the mystical study of the mind. Due to their vast knowledge of this discipline, they are known to be able to possess, control, read and manipulate the mind and its relative branches such as memories. Although as powerful as they may seem, there are certain creatures in the Adamya territory who inhibits the ability to shield themselves against such mind control tactics. Andora is the most notable member of this tribe who are extremely proficient with their tribe's distinct art.
Geography[]
The Hera Sensa is known, like the rest of the Etherian architecture with their sky-high towers, resembling a neo-gothic style structures. They are most notable situated in the shoreline of a vast tributary, with high to medium rise waterfalls underneath, group of towers are surrounded by strong walls. Historically, it is located on the southern part of the Etherian peninsula where Etheria once stood. To its west and northwest is Hera Volo, to its north and north-northwest is Hera Andal, to its southeast and partly east is Hera Aega.

The Etherian tribe specialized in the mystical study of time. They are proficient in controlling, manipulating and understanding the flow of time, giving them abilities to enter the time-rift to augment their physical abilities, showcasing enhanced speed. They are also capable of slowing time, using it to their advantage against their enemies. They can able to pause time long enough to escape any fast-acting enchantments even that of the Brilyantes.

Like the rest of their culture, they are known for their neo-gothic architectures and open Greek-style plazas, where they spend most of their time studying their art, with graceful dances above others. Historically it is located on the Etherian peninsula where Etheria once stood and is the westernmost tribe of Etheria. To its northeast and partly east is Hera Andal, to its southeast and partly east is Hera Sensa, and to its farther southeast is Hera Aega.

Hera Aega
The Etherian tribe that specialized in the mystical study of emotions. They are proficient in manipulating the emotions of their targets, greatly affecting it to the point that it influences their will. This tribe consist of mainly women and are also accomplished huntresses using bows, arrows, daggers, which they also incorporate their magic to.
Geography[]
Hera Aega is historically on the southeasternmost part of Etherian peninsula known for their vast forests of different kinds. Historically it is the most isolated and secluded noble tribe of Etheria because of its geographic location being far than the rest of the three noble tribes of Hera Sensa, Hera Andal, and Hera Volo, which on the other hand are near to each other in the Etherian peninsula.
The Golden Hourglass[]
The Golden Hourglass (Filipino: Ang Ginintuang Orasan) is a very powerful artifact given by Ether to her followers. It is rumored to be the the only one that keeps the life flowing for all the Etherians and gives a strong magical foothold for all of Etheria, so that if destroyed, the whole kingdom will fall into ruins. In the 2005 version, the Golden Hourglass was one of the main and vital items needed by the Sanggre's to destroy in order to stop Etheria and their conquest, and also to retrieve Princess Cassandra, who was trapped in inside the object. After the Sanggres used the combined powers of the four gems to destroy the hourglass, the Etherian kingdom was destroyed by a powerful earthquake, and even causing Ether to be temporarily banished. In the 2016 version, the Golden Hourglass is an important object needed to operate a portal in Etheria, to which allows any user to travel back in time, or allow people from the past, to travel to any timeline.

- The location of this re-civilization is at the far northern region of Encantadia; as stated by Aquil.
- Before Ether rebuilt Etheria, it didn't have the floating castle yet.
- When Alena and Danaya destroyed New Etheria it was roughly the same time as the destruction of Old Etheria in the past.
- In the 2005 version, Etheria is situated at the heart of Encantadia, while the four other kingdoms surrounding it. While the 2016 version, the original Etheria is built in the Northwestern part of the continent, covering an entire peninsula.
